It seems to me, we don’t need bureaucrat docs who hide behind their desks, go to expensive conferences all over the world and then when a pandemic arises fail to recognize it until too late. Wouldn’t it be better to have actuaries at the federal level figure out what assets we need, the Intel agencies monitor the China’s of the world and the weirdo diseases in the world and then when necessary get the top 10 doctors in the country and put them in charge pandemic requirements for the time necessary?
