walmart today was a madhouse- still empty shelves, still people crammed into isles looking for items- went into one isle that was clear of people got 1/2 way- then blocked in on both ends- had top squeeze my way out-

The food and cleaning sections are just wiped out of stuff- still- toilet paper you might as well forget- if you aren’t there when the clerks roll out the pallets with the paper, you aren’t getting any- it’s gone before they even hit the shelves- after all these weeks, people are still panic buying-

And the worst part is- EVERYONE goes there because they are bored of sitting at home- it’s insane- there’s no such thing as social distancing in walmarts- some of the older folks tried- but nope- the younger generation just wouldn’t allow it- the isles were just crammed with people-

Will be shocking if i didn’t get the virus- now i get to wait 5-8 days to see if I get a fever or not- swell- just wanted some food for dinner- and a few basics- now i gotta wonder if someone had the virus- not too many cases yet in my neck of the woods- but more and more are getting it- likely getting it at walmarts Arggh-

Been weeks- no things like lysol- hand sanitizer, bleach, etc- no rice, flour, noodles (although spaghetti finally filled the shelves-) meat shelves were practically empty still-

How many weeks has it been now? it’s insane- people just aren’t letting up on panic buying-

There is social distancing inside over at the nearest city Walmart.

But there is a crowd milling around waiting to be allowed into the store.

Amy Acton told us to buy food for up to two weeks to limit exposure.
Yet the shelves are bare, only chicken thighs and hamburger for fresh meats, and the store puts limits on items (only one dozen eggs per customer)
Just can’t win. Looks like we lost a war

“The Virus” You’re just shopping, nobody else is, and you’re afraid of getting “the virus?”

They’re just going there because they are bored? Not because they’re shopping for things they need, of course.

And you probably got “the virus” because young people just go there for no reason. Not like they have to shop for food or anything, lol. Only old people shop for needed food or toilet paper or other items.

OMG.

Older folks tried to do social distancing but the younger folks didn’t allow it.

OMG

And we wonder why we lose.

LMAO come to South Jersey. We’re fully stocked now after a month. We got toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, wipes, but now we’re short on frozen foods and dairy. Lots of meat though.

Welcome to Venezuela. You wanted it, you got it.

But maybe you got “the virus” lmao

walmart today was a madhouse- still empty shelves,

In the past there was a reason to go to Walmart: save a few bucks. Now, there is no reason to go to Walmart. Drive away from whatever city you are in, about an hour should do it. Find a strip mall with an Aldi. Shop there.

I’m in a hot town (I presume), due to one of those nursing home incidents that happened a week or so ago. For all I know, I could be packin’ virus already. My eyes are stinging, and Chinese Heme Burglar Virus can cause conjunctivitis if it gets into the eyes. We’ll see. If it goes away, I’m probably fine for now, but will wear a mask in the stores.

If you don’t mind my asking, are you in a hotspot? Or a large city? It’s still relatively calm in my midwest neck of the woods, but we haven’t had a large number of cases reported yet.
