President Donald Trump told reporters on Saturday he "may" take the drug hydroxychloroquine, despite no evidence the drug is effective and safe for preventing or treating the coronavirus.
The nation's top infectious disease expert, Anthony Fauci, who is often featured at Trump's daily press briefings, has warned Americans that there is no evidence that the drug is effective in preventing or treating coronavirus.

Does anyone doubt that Chris Cuomo, brother of Andrew Cuomo who has made it all but impossible for ordinary New Yorkers to have access to hydroxychloroquine, somehow ,someway received all the hydroxychloroquine he needs to treat his COVID-19 infection. If he ever admits he took the drug Commissar Zucker at CNN will fire him.
Except there is overwhelming evidence from doctors who actually attend to coronavirus patients from all over the world (as against Fauci who is a mere administrator) that Chloroquine WORKS,
He specifically told Anderson Cooper and Sanjay Gupta that he will NOT take HCQ based on the advice of family friend Dr. Fauci.
You know we used to joke here on FR for years that if Trump discovered the absolute cure for cancer today, the media will be against that drug.
Turns out we were right.

According to sources at the drug maker, Concordia Pharmaceuticals Inc, Nevada prisons ordered a large number of their anti-malaria Hydroxychloroquine drug under the name, Plaquenli. Nevada prisons has literally ZERO cases of prisoners infected with the COVID 19 virus to date. The Nevada Board of Pharmacies and the Governor claimed the rule barring doctors from prescribing the drug outside of hospitals was to stop hoarding. After Sisolak’s ban went into effect, the State Prison hoarded the drug in a mass just in case they had break out.
Gov. Sisolak refused to reverse his order even after the FDA issued an emergency order earlier this week approving the drug for use against COVID 19.
