Good points, it could be true. I’m giving benefit of doubt and thinking they would not do this to their own people and customers but that may be giving them too much credit.

I think you are right and wrong. The suggestion from Tye is that they were separating Bat virus, and they mishandled one. I read somewhere, that a researcher at the lab said they were spilled on regularly. And that when they got sick, they just stayed home. So it was normal Chinese lack of quality that allowed a virus which was natural, to find its way to humans in the lab. And then out to the general population.

I have not seen anywhere that would suggest it was created. And I am not sure how you could even test the one most damaging thing about this virus. Its ability to spread so easily. How could they test such a thing without human suspects.

I guess they could do it with jails. But nobody has suggested that this thing escape from a jail. It seemed to escape a lab. Uyghurs could be used, but they would not give it to people in Wuhan. A test facility like that would be out in the desert to stop spread. If China suddenly produced a vaccine, you would know that they had been working with it earlier. And would have wanted to vaccinate themselves before spreading it. But this does not seem to be the case either.

No, I think all the evidence points to a lab that was not very clean, which was studying local naturally occurring virus’. They had several like Bird Flu, SARS and many others that effected their population. It is reasonable that they promote science that researches the known virus’ in Chinese animals, both farm and wild. And in doing so, they accidentally allowed one to infect their researchers and then the city and then the world.
