Thats even cheaper than I remember when I was a hs pump jockey in the 60s. Maybe a quarter was the cheapest. I remember 19 cents. Dad said he remembered 11¢

Yeah, right. "We'll PAY you to take our oil!" Ridiculous.

Told my buddy that Gas this Cheap and I’ve been stuck here for weeks ... I’m gonna top off and take off at Sunrise and get back home when I am out of gas ... No destination, just a big loop... (take a couple fishing rods, just in case)
Theoretically 540 miles, more likely about 400 miles (my bladder is much smaller than it used to be, I’ll run out of Daylight before I run out of Gas)
The trip would be “Mostly for Fun” but Business Cards will ride along so it will be a Tax Deductible endeavor

Gas Wars in the early 70’s we had 13.5 per gallon for a couple of days... The Independents lost and went away... then Jimmy Carter shows up and we had Gas Lines
