WASHINGTON — Mayor Muriel Bowser is threatening residents of Washington, DC, with 90 days in jail and a $5,000 fine if they leave their homes during the coronavirus outbreak.
The threat of jail is alarming residents and civil libertarians who point out that at least five inmates tested positive for COVID-19 in the city’s 1,700-inmate jail near Capitol Hill.
“Our message remains the same: stay home,” Bowser, a Democrat, said in a statement Monday. The stay-home order has exceptions for grocery shopping and work deemed essential. Outdoor recreation such as running is allowed, but cannot involve people outside of a household.

One can see, in all these Rat mayors and governors, their inner tyrants coming out in an emergency.
They love their power and authority, and they love using it.
They love lording it over others and bossing around the serfs. It gives them a woody.
This sounds no different from what our governor in Maryland has done, and many other governors have done. The thread title doesn’t convey the exceptions, which I think most anyone can deal with for the short term.
They want the $5,000. It’s about the money.

So they’re letting criminals out of jail and threatening to put regular citizens in jail. People. Do you see a pattern here? I can’t see this crap going on for even a couple more weeks instead of a month. If by April 15th there’s no more than 10,000 dead nation wide we’ve been had.

Oh well ... this time, unlike my Dad’s generation, we won’t have to cross an ocean to kick their Nazi asses. That’s one bright side to all of this.
We might have the answer to why they are releasing criminals from jails and prisons. Think of this as reeducation.

Going to the depths they already have is bad enough.
They have no scruples, just an agenda.. and a bias infected media willing to mouth its words and invoke its hatred on all of us, regardless of age, color or religion.
I’ve been in countries under martial law and so have quite a few old vets here. This is a kinder gentler one or so it would seem.. but what it is doing to our way of life is nothing short of apocalyptic.
PS.. Thinking about a Alaskan cruise,, it would be my 7th or so. Next spring or early summer.. before the skeeters get as big as heck.

The pattern really is tyrannical, you can break the law, but don’t you dare disobey my order. Very tyrannical. But America is so easily manipulated, most are scared of their own shadows right now. Just how long does the Chinese flu live on a shadow? I’m not sure, but I know it has to be threatening every life.
The politicians are all in on it: press the panic button, cripple the economy, and try to meet people’s needs with printed money.
