President Donald Trump berated Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) on Friday, demanding the Republicans throw him out of the party for obstructing the massive coronavirus rescue package.
“WIN BACK HOUSE, but throw Massie out of Republican Party!” Trump wrote on Twitter.
…& costly. Workers & small businesses need money now in order to survive. Virus wasn’t their fault. It is “HELL” dealing with the Dems, had to give up some stupid things in order to get the “big picture” done. 90% GREAT! WIN BACK HOUSE, but throw Massie out of Republican Party!

The president described the famous Republican libertarian as a “third rate Grandstander” who was obstructing the bill.
“He just wants the publicity. He can’t stop it, only delay, which is both dangerous and costly,” Trump wrote.
Massie is expected to force a roll call vote in Congress on the $2 trillion emergency funding bill, requiring members of Congress to rush back to Washington instead of passing the bill unanimously by a voice vote.
If Massie demands a quorum, 216 members of Congress are needed to return to Washington to pass the bill.
The Kentucky congressman shared an image of text from the Constitution on Thursday, suggesting that he would demand a quorum.
It appears that Massie believes that members of Congress should be required to record a vote on one of the biggest spending bills in the history of the country.
But Trump described him as a “disaster for America” for holding up the vote.

The guy had the right to call for a role call. He wasn’t required to by the constitution.

If you’re going to vote for a $2T bill on short notice, own it by going on record.

Massie is a patriot. I actually think PDJT’s criticism of him is an act...a dumpster fire. Massie is on Rush now.Massie’s point about not having to be present for votes in the future is valid...and, he mentioned what if there is a Corona 2, 3, 4, etc.? I like him, he sees just how evil the Left/Soros/CIA/China/Illuminati/Bildebergers/Globalists are...yes, they are that evil.
The President is beyond stressed. Do you not realize the pressure he is now under? Added to the stress he has BEEN under? To see all the accomplishments fly away in the wind caused by a VIRUS?! He really wants money for people and small businesses, but a bitter pill has to swallowed to get those things.
People must have lied when they said they had his back. Happy time rallies were great. Let’s see if “the base” meant it and for how long.
I’m with Trump, too. But this feels like the way we backed Bush because he was the best of a bad bunch. I’d rather be for Trump because our fight is his fight, too. Not because it’s him or some other liberal looney with a D after their name.
DJT has been an amazing president so far, but he’s still human, and I hope he’s alright.

Coronavirus stimulus is a historicl, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for politicians, DC ideologues and cronies to rob America blind.
No, Massie has the worst possible timing and the worst possible perspective on where he is and the moment time that this is.
He’s exceedingly short sighted while he’s thinking that he’s looking at the term. The long term doesn’t even exist if he doesn’t get this right. Trump sees it, Massie is clueless.
He should have called PDJT first, and teamed up to create the best way to accomplish both things instead of showboating.
