Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), along with other pro-choice groups, filed a lawsuit Wednesday against Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Attorney General Ken Paxton and several other state officials over a temporary ban on elective abortion during the coronavirus pandemic.
The ban was issued as part of an executive order by Abbott aimed at conserving medical equipment and the capacity of the health care system after warnings from health care professionals that patients sick with the coronavirus might overwhelm hospital capacity and deplete supplies, such as personal protective equipment for doctors and nurses.
Pro-choice activists say the ban was issued in bad faith and limits access to an "essential" procedure.

Only Democrats have the right to take advantage of a crisis. Just ask them.

I am all for this lawsuit. Let PP spend time, money, and resources on this. In the year that it takes to decide this will all be long past.
But if Murder,Inc wins the lawsuit taxpayers get stuck with paying their ( no doubt inflated)legal bills.
We should have fought harder against allowing the phrase “pro-choice”.

Abortionists believe they are an “essential” service like a fire department. How could that be true?
A woman and her boyfriend who don’t want their careers hurt by the problem of the “mass of tissue” would be delayed in having a living baby killed. And abortion companies would lose daily money by the abortions and the sale of body parts of murdered babies being stopped. The director wouldn’t get her Lamborghini from the profits.
What is essential about that?
But evil governors like Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan who before being elevated to that position was a breathless activist for 100% unrestricted abortion including at time of full term birth. Despicable woman.
Can we abort the workers?
I hate abortion and wish that PP never existed.
The people suing the Gov. should be the business owners. The Texas governor does not have the right to “order” anything via an “executive action”.
