You can still intentionally spread HIV in California!
In Texas, you are prosecuted for aggravated assault just for knowingly exposing anyone else to HIV. It's a 2nd second degree felony. I bet they go after some of those coronavirus party crashers under the same law.
That is because in California HIV is also called “The Gift”.
