The problem they have is that they have not finished the process of making him their nominee. Bernie can capitalize on this and if they try to do the bait and switch, threaten to take all his brownshirts with him. If there are not enough delegates for Bernie to become the nominee, there are certainly not enough for Cuomo.
Given other things he’s said, that exemplify his entirely unjustified ego and arrogance, this is believable. Being a politician, contrary to the ego-driven delusions of those like Biden and Hillary, is supposed to be a service profession, not a ‘stature’ profession. The ONLY things that make someone a great politician are honesty, ethics, and a drive to help those you are committed to serve. If you have this commitment, you’ll find a way to help. I feel sorry for Biden if he is indeed having some cognitive issues, but his character flaws precede his current age by many, many decades.

With the way he grabs women, I am surprised this is the only one. I can imagine a staffer who worked with him for any length of time in close contact would almost certainly and repeatedly have had physical contact from his hands...never mind putting his face in her hair from behind.

I think it’s worth pointing out that it doesn’t make a damn bit of difference whether he “remembers” assaulting this woman, because the only relevant question is whether or not he actually did it.
I’ve consulted the family oracle here at chez Buttons, who says, Cuomo is young enough to wait for 2024, he will not agree to become the designated driver off the cliff in 2020.
This makes sense. Trump will win easily, and Biden is expendable.
