Actually that is not far off. If we release prisoners many are going to join the ranks if the homeless where they will be even more susceptible catching and spreading the virus.
Yeah - putting a bunch of people who have no regard for others out on the streets - that’ll be a big help...
So, if you release the prisoners, they will have no job, and in some cases, no housing. The released prisoners will be the most likely to reject and disobey quarantine rules.

That was sheriff Joe’s approach to criminal justice and it worked. People left the county to commit crimes.
So, they should let them out of a contained area to spread what they have?
They’ve put the rest of us under lockdown to “keep us safe”, so shouldn’t prisons be the safest of all places to be? As long as they keep visitors from coming into close contact with the prisoners and carry out the recommended cleaning routines, then I don’t see why the virus should spread to the inmates at all.
This is truly getting to be a bad Twilight Zone episode.

They want to create anarchy so they can come in and save the day.

Right! Let’s look at this closely:
1. Let loose older & sick prisoners... who can then clog up the hospitals or spread the virus in the non-criminal community.
2. Turn loose people who have no job & no assets & no place to live...will they become more of the homeless?
3. Turn loose criminals who have NO HEALTH insurance...and those who sign people up for health insurance are off work due to shutdown!!!
4. Turn loose criminals who have no money to survive——so they can rob & create mayhem attacking others.
All of the above sounds just like the UN——Never support those who are supporting any government in existence with their earnings & taxes...
ONLY support the lowest of the low & the most useless segments of any society.
