Nevada’s Democrat Governor Issues Emergency Order Barring Use of Anti-Malaria Drugs For Coronavirus Patients

Nevada’s Governor Steve Sisolak (D) on Tuesday issued an emergency order barring the use of anti-malaria drugs such as chloroquine for Coronavirus patients.

Last week Sisolak shut down casinos and only kept open essential businesses like grocery stores and health care facilities.

In addition to barring the use of chloroquine for Coronavirus patients on Tuesday, Nevada’s governor also banned social gatherings of more than 10 people.

The Associated Press reported (emphasis our own):

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada’s governor on Tuesday night issued an emergency order banning gatherings of more than 10 people in the state indoors or outdoors, a more aggressive move to try to stop the spread of the coronavrius.

Sisolak said the order does not apply to private homes or the homeless, but includes places like social clubs, parks, libraries and sports fields.

Sisolak signed an emergency order earlier Tuesday barring the use of anti-malaria drugs for someone who has the coronavirus. The order restricting chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine came after President Donald Trump touted the medication as a treatment and falsely stated that the Food and Drug Administration had just approved the use of chloroquine to treat patients infected with coronavirus. Sisolak said in a statement that there’s no consensus among experts or Nevada doctors that the drugs can treat people with COVID-19.

Anyone who violates the order will be charged with at least a misdemeanor crime and it remains in place until April 16 (after Easter).

President Trump on Saturday expressed optimism about two drugs that he said could be “one of the biggest game changers” in medicine – hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin.

Hydroxychloroquine is a drug used in the treatment and prevention of malaria. Azithromycin is an antibiotic that is used to treat many different types of infections in the respiratory system, eyes, ears, and skin, as well as sexually transmitted diseases.

A 52-year-old Coronavirus victim recently said he expected to die but hydrochloroquine saved his life:

”An hour after an IV with the medicine, he says his heart felt like it was beating out of his chest. “They had to come in and get me calmed down and take care of me. I had another episode about two hours later where I just got to the point where I couldn’t breathe and my heart was pounding again so they gave me some Benadryl through the system and something else. I’m not sure what it was. It allowed me to go to sleep and when I woke up at exactly 4:45 in the morning, I woke up like nothing ever happened.”Miraculously, he’s since had no fever or pain, feels fine and he’s able to breathe again.

“To me, there was no doubt in mind that I wouldn’t make it until morning,” Giardinieri said. “So to me the drug saved my life. … I just want everyone to know there’s an option. You don’t have to just sit there and hydrate. There’s a medicine that’s working.”

But now Coronavirus patients in Nevada will not have access to these anti-malaria drugs because the governor said so.

#11. I’ll settle for the bastard to get to the “near death” state. Then we can flip a coin as to how to treat him - like the nutcase he is!

#24. I’d prefer the fool find a horse’s head in his bed. Capish? Remember, the mob might still have some influence in the casino/night life industry in Reno and Vegas.

#43, Re the AP story claim that Trump advocated the use of the two drugs and claimed that the FDA approved it.

Do you or anyone else know if this is true or is it just another anti-Trump AP shitpiece of journalism?

Not necessarily. It could be an interesting tactic to avoid getting a “hot spot” if they aren’t in trouble now. The message is “If you have it don’t come here.” 4D chess.

Yet one more item of evidence that this coronavirus crisis is far more political than medical.

Maybe instead of governor he should be the Viceroy of Wuhan.

“I know but his own residents will be the ones that will die.”

Don’t forget, he’s a RAT. If there’s collateral damage of human lives in the effort to get rid of Trump, so be it. “By any means necessary.”

“He is going to look like an idiot when it DOES work and his constituents don’t have access to it.”

Good, right? Maybe the remaining residents — the ones who DON’T die — will never vote for him again.

(I’m hopeful that the testing happening in NY will be wonderfully effective!! One more thing on the prayer list.)

if it was not sufficient for the DNC/Soros/Xi/Gates
to make a virus atrocity,
and if was not sufficient for the DNC/Biogen/Xi/Soros
to bring it into America;
it would soon be necessary for the DNC/Soros/UN
to make certain there would be NO working Rx.

only one conclusion:
typical murderous Democrat politician.

“Hopefully the order will be rescinded before things get bad.”

I predict he will lift the order by this weekend.

I read this last night and became so highly angry with this man that I made myself stop thinking about it because hot anger like that does no good.

Upon awakening, this was on my mind and I realized that my hot anger is gone and has been replaced with cold anger with this small man.

It isn’t that I think Governor Steve Sisolak has the right to deny anyone medical treatment or that I’m horrified that there exist people who think like he thinks, it’s that he went there.

He went there.

If he has a functioning rational brain cell, this man knows that the people who are most susceptible to this virus are those who are already weakened by underlying conditions.

These vulnerable people are understandably more concerned about infection than others who are more healthy.

So what did Steve Sisolak do?

During a pandemic Governor Steve Sisolak threatened the people of his state with withholding possible life-saving treatment for the pandemic virus.

He went there.

In the fog of war which has been so hatefully stirred up by the left, this man, Sisolak, has told the people of Nevada that he would like to refuse them a life-saving drug if they become ill.

How many of the physically weakened people in Nevada will be even more weakened today when they learn about this threat from their governor?

During times of crisis we are all tested and, with a single stroke of his pen, Sisolak has failed.

We call him sissypants. A supposed business man from Vegas. BIG anti-gun POS and apparently pro covid-19 now too. There’s a recall petition but despite the desire to remove him you know it won’t go anywhere.

Yes, he 'went there'. Sadly, this is the demon rat way.

A political party that will raise the slaughter of alive, sensing humans in the womb or partially out of the womb, to the status of a right of passage, is so dead of soul that murdering by fiat a few thousand elderly and medically vulnerable people is expedient. To such evil people the ends justify the means, and the vulnerable are mere chattle, to be used for the party empowerment.

The demon rat party is evil to its core. Sadly, too many people will never realize it and continue to vote for the evil.

Yes, this evil man went there, and he exposed the evil at the heart of the demon rat party, but the citizenry are too stupid and cowed to even acknowledge what they are supporting.
