There was an article a few days ago about people in Africa OD’ing on the base form of the drug which is readily available in many countries where Malaria is an issue.
Another article noted the extreme Price Spike with this drug at Aquarium supply stores where, apparently, it is used to treat Aquarium water to protect the fish from water-borne viral infection.
Chloroquine is apparently very harsh on the human body.
Hydroxychloroquine is the preferred drug as it is just as effective but much better tolerated by humans. ie, far less toxic. And, in concert with Aziromyacin is extremely effective in killing the Wuhan Virus.

The Nevada and Ohio rules dictate that the drugs can only be used for treatment not prevention of COVID-19. Texas and Idaho said that the prescription needs a diagnosis “consistent with the evidence for its use.”

This is where many many doctors disagree. There is growing evidence that Hydroxychloroquine is indeed just as effective as a Prophylactic as it is a cure for this virus.
The problem is multifold. One, the availability.
Two, the form available. Chloroquine is very harsh on the human body and there are known unpleasant side-effects.
The Hydroxy form is much less harsh and much less toxic yet, just as effective.
Three, people are so freaked out by the media’s 24/7 “we’re all going to die” “hype” that people are risking their lives with unregulated drugs available on the net and they are nearly killing themselves to save themselves.
