President Donald Trump reacted to the news on Sunday that Sen. Mitt Romney was currently isolated after spending time with Sen. Rand Paul who tested positive for the virus.
“Romney’s in isolation?” Trump asked. “Gee, that’s too bad.”
When the reporter asked if the president was using a sarcastic tone, the president replied, “None whatsoever.”
Romney’s office said Sunday the senator would self-quarantine after learning that Sen. Rand Paul had tested positive for the virus, noting that he had spent time with Paul and that the attending physician ordered him not to vote on the Senate floor.

I didn’t get that from my viewing, however the reporter sure had a huge smirk when he asked Trump the follow up. Like he was trying to bait Trump into smirking along with him.

Smirk is the wrong word. I did detect a little something. But if you didn’t think so that’s good no one will make anything of it. I wouldn’t blame Trump if he had.
I mean, come on!!! If you want to find a place more riddled with foreigners who fly in and out of the country, not just the actual lawmakers but their staff, lobbyists, etc etc, you be hard pressed to find one that’s worse than the US Capitol.
Once again the rules are just for the peons....kinda like they exempted themselves from Obamacare.
At the very least, they should be setting the example. The White House is scanning every person before they enter for fever or symptoms. Are they doing this at the Capitol as well? Maybe they are, but I haven’t heard. Does anyone know?
