What if one prefers Vodka?

Being a man who values tradition I would have to say you’re SOL!

Thanks for the insight. We have been watching for cytokine storm response for decades as avian flu was on the horizon. We had detail threads on it here a decade ago.

the drain tube drains fluid from the pleural slate outside the lungs. there is no invasive way to drain fluid from the airspaces. Please leave the medicine to the professionals

I have read about lung lavage to remove abnormal protein from lungs (pulmonary alveolar proteinosis).

I take it that this process would not remove Pneumonia fluids from the lung.

Didn’t President Trump recently sign a “right to try” law?

What are your thoughts on this proposed treatment. If it’s working, I’m curios why Italy is having such a bad time.

I am genuinely interested in your thoughts and insight. PM if you don’t want the ostrich Corp to give you flak.

Israel has about 600 cases and no death with 7 drugs approved for use on cov19.

we could have have protected the old and infirm from the get go....upon hearing about the nursing home in the Seattle area, we should have closed down ALL nursing homes/senior facilities etc to visitors and checked all the staff....the writing was on the wall....

the “right to try” law was written his first year IIRC...one of the big things he did that the media just didn’t report...

Have there been a lot of cases in nursing homes since that case?

In Virginia, I think we have found two people so far in nursing homes that have tested positive. I know the NHS immediately sent out their staff to inspect every nursing home and make sure they were following proper procedures.

>The other issue is folks with Lupus also need plaquenil to keep lupus in check, which also damages lung and kidneys. So, now there is a sudden shortage of this drug.

Plaquenil helps skin and joint involvement in lupus, joints in RA, but I don't think it helps lung and kidneys much.

Very good initial news. Unfortunately, we have to wait a few weeks to see what the recovery rate of the treatment regimen is, and if there are important side-effects of the treatment.

Right now, the non-China/Iran reported survival rate is only 5.8%, as we are still in the throes of the outbreak. People are still being infected at a high rate, while very few have had sufficient time to recover.

There are going to be some interesting and risky medical policy choices coming up.

is going to stop what could have been one of the most deadly and expensive pandemics mankind has ever experienced.

Most expensive? Very probable at this point.

Most deadly? Not so much, even considering the increased size of the current population.

President Trump should invoke reference to “the right to try” law during one of his news conferences.
