Preppers have been ready for years but some folks are brand new (as in panic-stricken days new) to the readiness game. Of course they’re going to make mistakes, especially as their learning curves reach vertical.
Preppers have been thinking about the Disaster du Jour for years, so they already have plans for what is necessity and what is luxury. Miz Millenial and her significant other just learned hours ago that they’ll be staying home for the next month.
Quick, we need toilet paper! How much? I don’t know how much we use in a month, so buy a shitload! It doesn’t go bad.
Next disaster, they’ll be much more stable and informed.
