My thinking exactly. Shelby switched after the great Republican take-over in '93. Up until then he was a loyal, card-toting RAT. He checks to see which way the wind is blowing and then jumps in front.
I do have some reservations about Tubbs, but he is the best one on the market. I wish I knew more about his last season at Auburn. He just sort of quit. He went through the motions but the "umph" wasn't there. I don't want that to happen with my Senator.
