18 U.S. Code § 599 is pretty clear on this. "Whoever, being a candidate, directly or indirectly promises or pledges the appointment, or the use of his influence or support for the appointment of any person to any public or private position or employment, for the purpose of procuring support in his candidacy shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both."

Let’s remember: Rod Blagojevich essentially argued the same thing about his attempt to sell Barack Obama’s vacated Senate seat—though obviously some prosecutors and juries disagree. He said that such things happen all the time.

Laws are for little people. Certainly not for important Democrats.

He may have broken the law, but investigating Biden’s corruption is an impeachable offense.

Like they did for the Fraud, cleaning up his “articulate” speech and adding “g”’s to his present participles, I expect our domestic enemies to begin reporting fewer Quid Pro “gaffes”, and cleaning up his quote citations wherever they can.

Pretty sure we just learned over the last few months just what a serious breach of the law quid pro quo is now. Biden should go away for the maximum term, and Pete Buttboy should join him.

If Joe Biden were a republican he would have broken the law, and the democrats would be doing something about it.
