Well, Kent (SeaTac) is Amazons original fulfillment center. If that employee worked there, Im concerned with some things I ordered now.

As long as there are no wet spots on the item delivered, that’s okay. :)

Wife got word that her tech company today (not Amazon, but another big one) is now allowing remote work full time. All international travel is banned unless approved by a Senior Exec. Domestic travel strong discouraged.

Seattle: Prime target for a neutron bomb. Spare the Space Needle but don’t give out free drug needles. You can’thelp someone get rid of a drug habit if you supply them with the implements they need to keep it going.

So.....what happens when the US postal workers are infected?
Maybe pick it up the mail with gloves and put it in the microwave?
BTW, don't put greenback in the microwave....they catch on fire...I did it!

the risk of transmission for employees not in close contact with the stricken individual is assessed to be low.
This ridiculous comment is how you turn an epidemic into a pandemic.
The employee would have touched surfaces throughout the building, particularly in the rest room, break area, and any other common areas.
Anyone else who touched those surfaces would be at a _high_ risk for exposure, not a low risk.
The wise course would be to isolate and then test everyone who had access to the floor where the employee worked (or at least who used the areas I discussed) over the last several days.
That is _not_ CDC protocol, and that is why a week from now (after testing is done at scale and results are released) the numbers will be very high.
