SNIP

Stunning aerial images of Earth show a drastic decrease in pollution levels over northern China in the past month, as entire towns the size of New York City have been shut down amid the deadly outbreak.

The images, produced by NASA and the European Space Agency, compare air quality between Jan. 1 and Jan. 20 with pollution levels between Feb. 10 and 25 — and the difference in nitrogen dioxide concentration is stunning.

I was being sarcastic.

In the city of Wuhan they have 49 crematoriums. They generally run, it is reported, 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. They are now running 24/7. Each one is processing over 100 bodies per day according to multiple reports directly from the workers that are complaining about lack of manpower. That’s 4900 bodies per day at least instead of the usual 900 or so. With 2 extra days. In addition to the 49 incinerators they brought in another 40 industrial incinerators to dispose of “medical waste” (bodies qualify per CCP doctrine).

All of the above has been reported from multiple sources, so if’n you wanna fact check it, go for it.

Now, if those reports are true, there are a significant number more dead than the Chinese have reported. That is because the medical infrastructure has collapsed and they aren’t even trying any more. They simply throw the afflicted in their newly constructed hospitals (which don’t even have bathrooms) AKA Death Camps.

Would that happen here? No. We value human life, and our medical infrastructure has depth unlike the Chinese, which is a thin veneer of modern medicine over a witch’s brew of mysticism, herbal remedies and superstition. But to preserve the ability of our medical system to cope with a significant outbreak we need to stamp out any outbreaks as they occur. It is easier to put out the brushfires than to deal with a conflagration. Part of that is a degree of prepping. We won’t likely lose power or public services like water treatment for extended periods, but it won’t hurt you to stash some basics in case you find yourself inside a quarantine zone (like the ones already established in some first world countries). Then you can seal up the house and help the quarantine end earlier for everyone instead of being the guy that extends it for everyone ‘cuz you went out for food and got sick.

It reminds me of the lack of contrails during the afternoon of 9/11. Some even said the surface temperature over the USA even dropped a few degrees.

>>>Lucky for us we don’t import much from China... /s

Yeah - guess the markets are overreacting because they shouldn't be worried about the supply chain being disrupted or not being able to stock the shelves. /s

>>>Which is what is going to severely damage the economy. The supply chain has been obliterated.

Which is what people do not understand - and I won't feel sorry for them. The herd is already stampeding and it doesn't matter if the one who started the stampede saw a lion or his shadow.

And once the herd begins the runs on the stores (and they already are on the west coast - look on Twitter #panicbuying) - the supply chain won't be able to catch the demand. If you haven't got food for you and yours by now - you are quickly running out of time...and it won't matter of COVID-19 "kills less people than the flu."

So what if you can’t afford to?

What happened to Himself last summer has put us so far in the hole, we had to borrow money from my unhappy mom just to keep from losing our house.

We barely have money for meager monthly supplies, let alone ‘stockpiling’.

It’s only thanks to me stalking the pet stores looking for deeply reduced dog food on clearance that the dogs will be fine for many months.

I started my “panic buying” five weeks ago. Would make a run to Costco every other day and load up my cart. I was last in there a week ago for normal shopping (okay - I did buy some more wipes and alcohol) and stuff was still there.

I ‘ll probably drop in on Monday and see what it is like. (It might be interesting to just drive by there tomorrow - but any weekend it is crazy. Ok - maybe I'll drive by the street on the way to the store just to see how backed up the road is!.)

I was telling a young gal we know that it can't hurt to prepare. “Well, I don't have much room in my apartment for all that stuff, so I just shop every few days.”

We saw her tonight. “You'll be so proud of me. Last weekend I went shopping and got my entire pantry stocked, and with some canned food and water under my bed. I'm good for a few weeks if I have to! And I bought a bunch of extra food for my dog.”

#23. At least Wuhan won’t be short of electricity generation.

Where is little Swedish psycho Greta Thunberg now that the Chinese people need her? No where in sight, as usual.

Send her to Wuhan to observe the situation first hand. I’ll pay for her dinner at a good local Chinese restaurant and animal slaughtering center.

You want Soy Sauce with your Bat. rady? (Lady)

If you understand that this is an issue and can’t do something to mitigate it-then I do feel sorry for you. I honestly do. Who I don’t feel sorry for are the myriads of folks on here who have said for a month that it’s nothing and nothing will happen. This people don’t understand the mentality of the herd. Fear is irrational. I see it in the financial markets every day-whether is panic selling or his twin brother - MOMO (fear of missing out).

Yeah-we began our peeps on the 22nd of January after I watched the Event 201 pandemic exercise on YouTube and realized the globalist game plan if this were to get out of hand. So far-the script is being followed.

I don’t normally do “panic” buying. Farm background-we always canned and preserved months worth of food, and had a well stocked pantry. So that’s what I’ve always done. Guess we were preppers and didn’t know it.

I bought masks and all that stuff at least 5 years ago. We always have a couple of the big hand sanitizer refills and 5 full sanitizers in the 4 bathrooms and 1 in the kitchen.

I put a bar of soap in every drawer with clothes-helps it smell good, and we keep a box in the pantry of hand soap and three 3 gallon buckets of laundry detergent etc.

It was just a month of regular restocking for us. Except for duct tape-I had let the supplies get low on that.
