Wish we could buy American in Rail Transit, but there isn’t an American owned rail transit company. Seimens is German owned. Kawasaki is Japanese, and Bombardier is Canadian.

Wish we could buy American in Rail Transit, but there isn’t an American owned rail transit company. Seimens is German owned. Kawasaki is Japanese, and Bombardier is Canadian.Put a high enough tariff on rail transit imports and you will have many, many domestic suppliers. Not right away, but you will. Worth the wait and the minor inflation.
