Trump's new intel chief makes immediate changes, ousts top official

President Trump's new acting director of national intelligence, Richard Grenell, has already made major changes at the agency, including ousting the No. 2 official.

Former acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire and his deputy, Andrew Hallman, resigned on Friday. According to The New York Times, Grenell told Hallman, who has worked for national intelligence and the CIA for three decades, that his service was no longer needed.

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) praised both Maguire and Hallman for their service after their resignations were announced.

“For nearly four decades, Joe Maguire has dedicated his career to securing our country, both in and out of uniform," Burr said. "I’ve valued Joe’s advice and counsel during his tenure as Director of National Intelligence and at the National Counterterrorism Center, and I wish him the best.”

Of Hallman, Burr added he appreciated "his extensive knowledge of intelligence matters and his deep respect for the men and women of our [intelligence community]."

If Grenell cleans house does that mean the New York Times and Washington Post will have to hire reporters rather than having pretentious stooges play lackey stenographers for ‘intelligence’?

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) praised both Maguire and Hallman for their service after their resignations were announced.

What other confirmation do you need as to whose lackeys they were?
Burr just outed both of them with those comments because
I don't see anybody else offering them parting praise.

What a tool!

Burr is a problem. The country needs to hang him by the neck until dead but POTUS needs the Senate so Burr for now gets a pass.

Burr is such a nobody loser I wouldn’t take his compliments as having any real substance. The SOB should have been investigating and holding hearings on both the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton, the DNC and the Deep State anti-American operations and connections (thru Steele to Russia, thru Mifsud to the reds, thru Halper to who knows, thru Fusion GPS to Moscow, the abuses at the DNI, the CIA, State Dept. and FBI as related to U.S. intelligence operations and entities.

Did he do anything? Not that I know of. I wish Trump could get rid of him and Graham won’t oust him. That is where one of our greatest weaknesses and dangers to our security lies.

Time to go, clean the stables out, there is a lot of s**t in that pathetic organization.

If it's that corrupt then why not just do away with it altogether?

According to The Hill, its just a conspiracy theory. Nothing to see.

<>The Times also reported that Grenell — who was only officially tapped into the role on Thursday and who says he will not be the nominee for the full-time role — also made a slew of his own new hires on Friday, including an expert on Trump conspiracy theories. <>

Richard Grenell is the axman. He comes in and takes the rap for clearing the riffraff and dead wood. Then the permanent director comes in and has clean hands to run the place

Do not screw with President Trump. He is truly the master

“Do not screw with President Trump. He is truly the master!”

By the time President Trump finishes his second term as POTUS there will be a long line of broken/destroyed rectums who tried to remove him.

It will be the second trail of tears, and a good one for our side.

One of the rare times we agree.

“If it’s that corrupt then why not just do away with it altogether?”

I feel the same applies to the DOJ/FBI and CIA!
