U.S. officials have told Sen. Bernie Sanders that Russia is attempting to help his presidential campaign as part of an effort to interfere with the Democratic contest, according to people familiar with the matter.
President Trump and lawmakers on Capitol Hill have also been informed about the Russian assistance to the Vermont senator, according to people familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence.
It is not clear what form that Russian assistance has taken.

But their “Russian meddling” line was reserved for when Trump wins, so democrats can further discredit him, us, the USA, and our election process... the leftist media shouldn’t waste it on Bernie.

If you want to know how bad the DNC wants to take out Bernie this should give you some idea. The WaPos actually running a story the Russians are helping Bernie. The f’n WaPos. The GOP cannot let the rats get away with the narrative that Sanders is an outlier. None of them are “moderates” they all believe what he does.

While I realize this is fictional, and so was the Russian interference in 2016, it is still interesting to see the difference in how the campaigns are being treated. When the IC detects Russian interference in the Sanders campaign, they notify the campaign and the Trump administration. When the IC detected Russian interference in the 2016 Trump campaign (stay with me), they did not inform the Trump campaign and started spying on them.

Me too. I can’t possibly understand how a country formerly called the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) would possibly wish to help a person who professes socialism as his chosen form of government and further wishes to implement it into the Russian Federation’s biggest rivals in the world if elected. Especially since the USSR fell apart in 1991 just like every other socialist country in history. Why wouldn’t they want to assist him and why wouldn’t he denounce them as this has the appearance of illegalities? And why not destroy the US using the same system that destroyed the USSR? It don’t take no rocket science to figure that one out. But I guess I are not one.

What a load of BS! Just because it’s towards Bernie doesn’t make it true. It makes it believable, but not true. This is the deep state interfering in our elections again. This has got to stop.
