What you call "Liberalism" is indeed a form of mental disease; but it is not "liberal" in any sense. Compulsion driven neurotics, are unable to accept reality. We need to stop suggesting that they are a reasonable philosophic alternative.

employees at the company have demanded that Ellison cancel the event.

Boy, boys (and girls too of course), you don't get to “demand” sh*t” on anyone’s political beliefs. You get to just shut up and code.

I always thought of Oracle as being one step above all the others. If Ellison stays strong, I will have been right.

If he folds...shame on him. Means that President is a STRONGER PERSON THAN HE IS.

Again lefty wants no view read or heard except their own.

This is the Antifa mandate without the terrorist violence but it is exactly the same demand.

Now views shall be voiced, heard, or tolerated, except for what we believe in.

That is the liberal motto.

It is very hard for me to imagine that woman standing there if Larry had $59 in his bank account.

n the meantime the WSJ reports about the favorable treatment Oracle gets from the government versus the other tech giants.

Which doesn't even come close to the massive favorable treatment Google got from the Obama White House.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/google-makes-most-of-close-ties-to-white-house-1427242076

Google executives, including co-founder Larry Page and CEO Eric Schmidt, have visited the White House around 230 times since President Obama took office.

Larry loves the visa scam. I’m sure he will talk to the pres about importing more cheap labor.

Probably not a tougher CEO in Silicon Valley than Larry Ellison.
I never really liked him but his is TOUGH!
It shocked me to see he was backing Trump.
It takes a brave CEO to go against the tide in the Bay Area and the few that did (Andy Grove and Paul Ortellini (passed away Intel, Scott McNeally (Sun)and a others who seem to work both sides of the street like Musk.

Terminating them might lead to some secret back doors or other nefarious computer coronaviruses.

....and if he holds the fund raiser yet keeps them on, do you think they won't still do so?

Ha! I heard Bloomberg will teach them how to farm in 5 minutes.

Wouldn’t it be funny if he were made to farm, in the same vein as greedy slumlord Mel Brooks was made to live in one of his own tenements, in “Life Stinks”?

That little Mexican from that movie is gay....

He lived in a storage unit at my facility in Nashville late 90s

I caught him and gave him. Few weeks to figure a way to get settled elsewhere
I felt sorry for him, he was from Los Angeles and very nice just dead ass broke
I smelled his hot plate when he was cooking....he had a little cot....pitiful

Later he came by and said he’d been offered to choreograph with Madonna

And the rest is history

Pedro

I’m glad he made good....he married a lesbian.. a beautiful lesbian.....don’t think it worked out
