Mike Bloomberg is considering making Hillary Clinton his running mate, a source close to his campaign has told Drudge Report.
Polling found the Bloomberg-Clinton combination would be a formidable force to take on Trump in the race for the White House, the source said.
Former New York City Mayor and Democratic candidate Bloomberg is said to be considering even changing his official residence from New York to Colorado or Florida - where he also has homes - because the electoral college makes it difficult for US president and vice-president to reside in the same state.
Under the Twelfth Amendment to the US Constitution, which provides the procedure for electing the president and vice-president, it states that the two people could not both inhabit the same state as the elector.

This is a smart move by Bloomberg.
1. Hillary controls the DNC. What’s his path to a nomination with zero delegates?
2. Hillary got 65,000,000 votes in 2016. Presumably those people would vote for their ticket again.
3. Sanders is unacceptable to party leaders and likely a brokered convention will be the result.

I just cannot see her more popular than 2016. That was her high water mark, and 3+ years of bitchin and accusing on TV and elsewhere has pushed her negatives WAY up.
The only other presidential candidate who won years after a defeat was Nixon, and a lot of that was due to the Vietnam war.
Trump, on the other hand, has everything going for him. The economy, failed impeachment and the big push to lessen America’s military commitment to unnecessary wars makes him a VERY formidable incumbent.
