Mike Bloomberg is considering making Hillary Clinton his running mate, a source close to his campaign has told Drudge Report.
Polling found the Bloomberg-Clinton combination would be a formidable force to take on Trump in the race for the White House, the source said.
Former New York City Mayor and Democratic candidate Bloomberg is said to be considering even changing his official residence from New York to Colorado or Florida - where he also has homes - because the electoral college makes it difficult for US president and vice-president to reside in the same state.
Under the Twelfth Amendment to the US Constitution, which provides the procedure for electing the president and vice-president, it states that the two people could not both inhabit the same state as the elector.

They will completely lose their base if they do this. HIllary couldn’t win on her own because she wasn’t far left enough for much of the party. Bloomberg isn’t near far left enough for the base and too far left for any Trump voters to cross over. It’s a paper tiger...sounds good on paper but in reality no teeth.

This is too easy to see how this plays out.
Bloomberg will accept Hillary as his VP. Bloomberg will start to win due to rigged machines.
The Fed will crash the economy in July/August/September time period. Think of 2008 right before the election when Bush and McCain were saying the economy was strong.
They cannot have Bernie because people will not accept Socialism or Communism. So the DNC will have Bloomberg the NY Billionaire to tell Trump how to run the economy.
Then once the DNC steals the 2020 election, using the failing economy to blame Trump, which was really caused by the Fed, Bloomberg will step down. Hillary and the DNC know the people will not accept Hillary as the nominee. Plus it keeps Hillary away from debating Trump.
I think he is a Placeholder for her. Seems like he is financing her campaign and all she has to do is show up as the reluctant warrior. No need to debate Trump since that already happened once. All she would have to do is go to Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Florida. Bloomberg will handle the media through his news service and he will get paid off from the Clinton’s Foundation. He will also get a cabinet position.
That’s what I would do.

He will step down and let Hillary become President, site “health concerns” , and will have a quid pro quo.

He might do it out of sheer spite. Bloomberg is worth billions, and doesn't need the presidency. He hates Donald Trump, and would love nothing better than to deny Trump a second term. He would then rub salt into the wound by stepping down after a few months and handing the presidency over to Hillary.
