Carville mentioned England as well. Out of touch minority party.

But they took the House in the last election and own major states. They may just burn a candidate here (like they did with Mondale) knowing it’s a loss and try to hang onto House and Senate seats.

Long term demographics favor dems. Older white Americans are dying off. They’re being replaced by 3rd worlders. Once Dems are the majority in Texas, the Republican party is toast.

This is just a bump in the road for them. Wish it weren’t the case.

Also, expect if it comes to a brokered convention that they’ll bring in someone not even in the mix right now. Michelle Obama with Mitt Romney (who switches to Independent) is my fear. Blacks vote black, sadly, and that’d be a tough ticket to beat despite the economy.

Remember, libs own the MSM, the press, Hollywood, education, colleges, the Deep State, the DOJ, etc etc. Hard to imagine anyone other than Trump would still be in the fight with the level of flak that’s come his way this first term.

It’s plain and simple. They believe Twitter is mainstream.

Trump congratulates a veteran on Twitter, and the Twitterverse slams him with unmitigated bile. Dems are in that echo chamber.

Gore is too busy enjoying all his carbon credit money and massaging his chakra. His propensity for massages and need to release the chakra in high end hotels fell out of the news, but the stories are out there. Gore is done.

Massaging chakra & releasing is normal behavior for Manbearpig in the wild. Lovely plumage on the manbearpig!

James, ask the DNC how in hell they allow a person that was not even a registered Democrat until he decided to run for the nomination, to be on the verge of taking over the party in the first place................

If he ran as an Independent Socialist, he would've split ALL the Democrat votes, thus ensuring that the Republican would've won.

By the Democrats allowing him in, they hope he'll go away if he can take part in the nomination process, but then come up a "loser"...like he did in 2016. Of course, the DNC believes that other legitimate candidates will emerge, but the favorites are falling like flies.

...Carville isn't necessarily opposed to the ideas that the most "progressive" Democrats are pitching. He's just warning Democrats not to tip their hand too soon: "We have candidates on the debate stage talking about open borders and decriminalizing illegal immigration. ... You've got Bernie Sanders talking about letting criminals and terrorists vote from jail cells. It doesn't matter what you think about any of that, or if there are good arguments -- talking about that is not how you win a national election. ...

Carville's telling democrats to avoid the 'Labor Party Defeat' by lying to their base and pretending they aren't as radical - - as they really are. In short to 'act conservative' to get elected, then WHEN in office fight for prisoners to be allowed to vote from their cells....

What does seem to be clear is that no one in the current crop of Democratic candidates appears to have what it takes to trounce Trump.

None of them could "trounce" Trump even under the best of circumstances. A narrow, vote-fraud fueled win is the best any of their "crude leading the crud" (in Florence King's memorable phrase) candidates could hope for.

The only difference between a “moderate” dem and a radical dem is the radical dem is at least being honest.

The Democrats have divided themselves into factions that hate everyone especially the DNC.

Carville isn’t mad that the Dems are running a Commie. He’s just mad that Bernie is an open Commie instead of being a crypto-Commie. He wants a bait-and-switch, run as a moderate, rule as an extremist and let the press cover for you

I expect the ‘Progressives’ to nominate Mayor Pete.
They label him ‘moderate’ (which he is compared to the rest) and faint as he waxes so eloquently on Nothing.
Reminds me of someone who used to take both sides in the same speech which drove me nuts!
The Dems are a Cult. A Cult of Personality. Bernie will not be the nominee and Milwaukee in July will get hotter!

Because my brother likes her, I read about Klobuchar and her issues. Over and over she says, “we need to say so and so,” about issues which sound moderate until you realize she’s not espousing these “ moderate” positions, only telling the Dems to tone it down so that we can win national elections, sort of like serpent head.

Just wait until the DNC convention when someone else is nominated on the 2nd ballot. The Bernbots will burn the place down.

“I always thought the Democratic Leadership Council took the party in the right direction.

Keep Democrats in the middle and borrow sensible ideas from the Left and the Right to be where most Americans are.

That’s the party I voted for in 1992. That party doesn’t exist today.”

= = = = =

Interesting. 1992 was the year I gave up on the democrat party. Any party that nominated Bill Clinton to high office did not deserve any support. I lived in a state next to Arkansas, and saw what he and Hitlery did to the state. I voted for Jessie Jackson in the primary (to vote against Clinton) and have never voted democrat since.

What we have with the rise of the Internet and everybody having access to it that people can learn the true history of the evils of socialism, rather than what the socialist public schools of indoctrinate them to believe about socialism
