Israel made an error in 1967. Their victory should have been immediately followed up by forcing all the non citizen Moslems across the borders into Jordan and Sinai. It should have been done as an unbroken continuation of the hostilities. They repeated the error in 1972.
Too bad the Israelis are not endowed with prescient hindsight.
