As the Senate is set to vote on the removal from office of President Trump Wednesday — with acquittal all but assured — Republicans are already plotting to expunge his impeachment if they retake the House.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may have taunted that impeachment "will last forever,” but GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, in line to be speaker if Republicans retake the majority in the November election, doesn’t agree.
“This is the fastest, weakest, most political impeachment in history,” McCarthy told The Post Wednesday. “I don’t think it should stay on the books.”

There is no constitutional provision for this. Similarly, there is no constitutional support for impeachment process as butchered by Pelosi, Schiff, and Nadler.
I’d be happy if they just did the job they were sent to the House to do.

McCarthy admitted to Sean Hannity that he believes the Deep State Coup plotters broke numerous laws.
I live for the day Schiff, Nadler and Pelosi are faced with this...
That and them move to censure Pelozi and Shiffy and Nadler.
As amazing as Trump is...imagine if we had the house on our side,too.
All they have to do is repeal or vacate the impeachment resolution. A future House isn’t bound by the actions of a past House.
What is there to “expunge”? If he is not found guilty it’s gone. Exonerated forever. Although that would explode democrat heads. Let’s do it!
