Swabbie wanted to hang Eddie out to dry for a picture. Trumpster said no way. Swabbie went rogue and thought his britches was bigger. Trumpster directed him to retire because he didn’t follow orders.
Now for the gest of the situation. Everybody has a boss. POTUS is boss of the military. Swabbie was boss of the special operators in the Navy. Sailors under Swabbies command happen to be voters for the electors so hence they are Trumpsters boss. Our founders created a circular firing squad for the benefit of the nation.
Whether Trumpster sent word down, SecNav or SecDef doesn’t matter everybody has a boss and if you don’t like it you can be removed. Founders were smart dudes.
