Amtrack and other rail is used high frequency the DC to Boston corridor

I used to take it a lot when I was in Manhattan

The non stop metroliner used to be now it’s something else

2 and a half hours at 120 bucks

It’s quicker than going to Newark or la Guardia from midtown and then from national into downtown dc

God forbid Dulles or BWI

but beyond selected use areas it’s not in high demand

You’re correct about speed/convenience if you’re going city center—>city center. It beats planes like a rented mule.
