Douglas MacKinnon, a political and communications consultant, was a writer in the White House for Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, and former special assistant for policy and communications at the Pentagon during the last three years of the Bush administration.

Plausible?

Would Hillary settle for second place just to make history as the first female vice president?

And keep in mind how many presidents have died while in office.

She could have a shot at being president if some 'unforeseen tragedy' befalls the president.

Arkancide. Any one foolish enough to take her on as VP will die in office. Guaranteed.

No

This is pure ego

Either a soon to be fired writer at "the Hill" (" .. A number of people in politics, the media and elsewhere .. " or a phone call into the editor's desk requested this headline.

hellery is as dead as pelosi .... they just won't lay down (I KNOW the difference between lay and lie and I chose lay)

LOL! The Clown Car is picking up hitchhikers in the middle of the night driving near a maximum security prison.

You’ll break down. Too much junk in the trunk.

I don’t think it’s going to happen. Pres. Trump is happy with V.P. Pence.

That is, Clinton and/or her team could be negotiating with former vice president Joe Biden, former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg or the last candidate standing to join the ticket as vice president. She would add the gravitas, delegates and, eventually, millions of votes needed to get them over the finish line on Nov. 5. I am assured that Clinton is on every short list for that position.

If I were in Trump’s world, this scenario would send chills down my spine.

LOL they actually believe that the people who voted for Hillary in 2016 would vote for her again?

People voted for Hillary because they were told by the media that Trump couldn’t do anything he promised

People voted for Hillary because they were told that Trump wasn’t serious about being president

People voted for Hillary because they were told that Trump would start World War 3

People voted for Hillary because they were told that Trump was a racist and hated gay people and wante to put black people to the back of the bus again

People voted for Hillary because................

Those people regret voting for Hillary and are now Trump supporters

This article is a total joke.

No president is interested in having to compete with a high profile VP who doesn’t know their place. Would Hillary be willing to quietly stand in the shadows and perform mundane assignments of no real import? Would someone like her be content to play a supporting role while the lead character gets all the attention? Unlikely IMO.

She is a narcissist and an insatiable publicity hound. On top of that, she cannot be trusted. People like that are not a reliable political partner.

I thought she’d enter the presidential race about a week or two ago, her strategy being to avoid the scrutiny of the debates and just be anointed and hailed as the savior.

Job Biden can be shoved aside under the 25th Amendment.

Hillary would be pleased to be Joe’s Vice President.

"Clinton herself seemed to throw shade at that theory"

The "woke" ghetto culture, drug-dealing culture, and thug culture terms and phrases that have been pushed into our language over the past 20 to 30 years is depressing. Our culture and our language are being shoved to a very low common denominator by the MSM and what passes for the educational system of the country.
