Romney is eying a 2024 run for the white house
Romney will never be president. I once voted for Romney, but came to genuinely hate him after his vicious March 3, 2016 speech in which he unloaded on then candidate Donald Trump. Here are some excerpts from that disgusting speech:
Let me put it plainly, if we Republicans choose Donald Trump as our nominee, the prospects for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished.
First, the economy: If Donald Trump's plans were ever implemented, the country would sink into a prolonged recession.
I am far from the first to conclude that Donald Trump lacks the temperament to be president.
Dishonesty is Trump's hallmark...His is not the temperament of a stable, thoughtful leader. His imagination must not be married to real power.
Think of Donald Trump's personal qualities, the bullying, the greed, the showing off, the misogyny, the absurd third grade theatrics.
Trump relishes any poll that reflects what he thinks of himself. But polls are also saying that he will lose to Hillary Clinton.
Here's what I know. Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He's playing the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat.
His domestic policies would lead to recession. His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe. He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president. And his personal qualities would mean that America would cease to be a shining city on a hill.
Time has shown that Romney was 100% wrong in what he said that March day. Between the two it is Romney who lacks character. During his run for the presidency, Romney went to Trump looking for support and a fat donation. After Trump won, Romney went to the President-elect and begged for the Secretary of State job. During his senate run, Romney sought and received President Trump's support and endorsement. Romney is a snake...apologies for insulting snakes everywhere.
Yup. Pierre delecto has Hillary-itis and a sore loser. I’m sure Trump knows he wants the nomination and wont give him. The endorsement . Trump always remembers a diss..
I come from a long line of worriers and I'm already focusing on 2024 but...Romney is nowhere in that scenario.

The only person to pull off a defeat as nominee to a win in the past 100 years is Nixon. Bishop Dullard doesn't have a fraction of Nixon's cunning and pure political instinct.
Meanwhile, Popular-President's-VP-running-for-Popular-President's-Third-Term is also a tough row to hoe, and again in the past 100 years that has only been done once with Bush I (can't count Truman or LBJ as incumbents).
We are going to be up against it in 2024, but it will give me pleasure to back Pence to the hilt just to defeat Romney one more time.
