In 10 years maybe well still be functioning normally, said Harold Wanless, a leading expert on sea level rise in South Florida. Twenty years? I think that could be a problem.
so....the pace of climate change is suddenly going to shift gears and accelerate in ten years? Based on WHAT exactly?

A quick review of the “Climate Change Scheduling Chart” indicates the last super bowl will be played in Miami on 31 Jan 3013. //sarc off//

There are entire towns in Florida in which the houses have a street on one side and a canal leading to the ocean on the other. Thousands and thousands of homes. The prices of those homes should be crashing. Their owners should be packing up and leaving in droves.

Yeah lol
I love this part..
...”sooner or later”
It doesn’t GET more scientific than that! :)
YES, the climate IS going to change sooner or later.
Maybe in 5 years or maybe in 10,000 years.
but it’s got nothing to do with anything we mere mortals are doing.
Dems just love to think they are that important.

OMG,OMG,OMG!!! No more Super Bowls in Miami? That’s it....it’s all over.
I wonder how long it will be for the other 31 NFL Stadiums to be demolished by globull warming?
To: Oldeconomybuyer
If it’s too warm, wear fewer clothes or move north and to the coast. Too flooded, move uphill. Too cold, wear more clothes and move south.
Come with me 200 miles north of Edmonton where we will farm tropical fruit.

For every event there is a climate change danger.

Their owners should be packing up and leaving in droves. Obama just spend $12 million on a Marthas Vineyard mansion that sits about 15 feet above sea-level. He doesnt seem too worried either.

Just when you thought they couldn’t possibly stretch this any further. Next: global warming will make us cancel the Olympics.

Stadium finance folks will have to look to the NWPL (National Water Polo League) to replace lost Super Bowl revenue.

The sea and temperature are rising,
The sea is rising regardless of Climate Change, and the rise appears to have slowed down.
The temperature difference is for most of the world, where it might actually exist even in theory, is night-time in the winter in dry areas. Not Florida.

“The Miami Dolphins stadium, the site of the Super Bowl this year for the sixth time, stands 10 feet above sea level. “
“Miami first hosted a Super Bowl 52 years ago.”
AND... how far above sea level was it 52 years ago ?

Riiight...Mr. Leading Expert will doubtless still be living in Miami twenty years from now, cautioning everyone that Miami will be underwater by 2060. Just keep the horizon for doomsday twenty years or so in the future and book sales will follow. Doomsayers never fail to find an audience among the gullible.
