I really believe that Collins is honorable in her mind. I don’t agree with her but she never changes. Romney on the other hand is a weasel. He’d make a good RAT. He hates Trump’s guts (except when he needs him) and would destroy this country to hurt Trump. Where do we get this scum and why haven’t we shown him the door? Boot him out of the party and let UTAH deal with him.

Can McConnell schedule part of the day for the Trial & the rest of the day for normal Senate business—like confirming judges, etc???

Nope. Until the trial is resolved, no other business can be conducted in the Senate. That is why they go into RECESS at the conclusion of each days proceedings.

Something just occurred to me.
I hate to sound mean, but Susan is not the brightest bulb on the tree. I’m wondering if her staff is as dedicated to telling her the truth about her rising and falling numbers.
She came out for Kavanaugh, in an interview some time later, she claimed she was losing popularity at home because she supported Kavanaugh. I think she was dropping in the polls because she was...BUCKING PRESIDENT TRUMP.
I thought it was strange that she attributed her problem to the wrong actions she took.
I thought maybe her staff was feeding information about things as they would wish it to be and not the truth.
