With all the global seismic activity, sooner or later I expect the ground to rumble beneath my feet here in Los Angeles.

given that it takes what a 4.0? quake to actually be felt I feel sure that there are always quakes in LA.

I live on the world’s largest volcano. She could move and produce a quake like that at any time. It’s the reality we live with.

Earthquakes never really bothered me, lived through a lot of them when I was living down there.

Whittier quake was right next door (lived in Downey), Northridge quake was just a few miles away, San Fernando quake happened when I was overseas in RVN.

When I retired to Northern California it was because there are just to many damn people down there.
Much worse than earthquakes.
