In another thread someone said Bolton had submitted the draft to the NSC for review in December. That would be ... Trump’s NSC or at least it should be since he’s the boss. Not sure if true. Who knows? Leaks have plagued Trump since the beginning.
Trump would have to fire EVERYONE in DC every single person in DC hates Trump and want him gone what the hell is he supposed to do!!! If I were a Trump I would split up the entire government and start transferring their asses to places like Alaska, Nebraska, Montana, North Dakota if they don’t want to transfer then LEAVE !!! It would be the ONLY way to downsize the government AND drain the swamp!!!!
Bolton submitted it in December meaning Trump has known what’s in it for quite a while. So it’s not like this is a last second reveal by Bolton. Nor should it have been unexpected that Vinman’s brother would leak it and the NYT would trumpet the leak. I’m reserving some hope that this Bolton book thing is indeed some kind of trap for the Dems. I could imagine the book hitting in March and flatly contradicting the Dem accusations on Trump/Ukraine. How would that play now that the Dems have declared the book the “smoking gun”?
And what if it coincided with Graham’s committee hearings exposing Biden corruption in Ukraine (assuming Graham follows through)? And what if that coincided with the rollout of the Barr/Durham investigation exposing deep state corruption? I could see this all snowballing together in kind of a nice way.
