I thought we could put a mortar shell into the pickle barrel of our choice within minutes of a rocket/mortar attack?Sure can, but the shooters are moving within seconds of launching their rockets. This is an old, old game for us, and the Green Zone has been a magnet for it for years. How soon people forget.

Doubtful in the time given, but even if there was, you’re talking about launching said IDF back into dense urban areas. That means a lot of blown up buildings and dead people who likely had nothing to do with any of it.
