I think Bob has less lucid moments than the first Lassie.

Last time I saw him he looked older than a 1923 plow. The plow had less rust and looked more agile.

It never ceases to amaze me how much possibility the Republican leadership is willing to scoop up with both hands and toss out the window going down the road.

Kobach has two votes in our Kansas household.

If I could appoint a senator for Kansas, it would be Kobach, so of course he'll have my vote in the general election. My concern is that he's the only major Republican candidate who could lose this seat just like he was the only Republican who could have lost to Laura Kelly.

Establishment / non-establishment argument aside - isn’t Kobach already a proven loser? Significant resources would have to be expended to try to hold this Senate seat in Kansas if he is nominated whereas it would essentially be over with the nomination otherwise...and we don’t need to have to spend a lot of money in Kansas of all places.

One good thing I will say about Bob Dole is that he stood by candidate Donald Trump.

Oh come on - don’t you find merit in having more unnecessarily vulnerable Senate seats that would cause resources to have to be spent there instead of trying to pick up seats in places like Michigan?

Marshall is a good one, but I wish we could utilize Kobach.

I supported Jeff Colyer in the primary for Gov. He lost by 40 votes to Kobach. I did support him in the General. But will not in the KS Primary in 2020. He is a lightning rod and will lose the seat if he makes it to the general election.

Kansas GOP knows that Kobach is a lighting road and will not support him again.

Good many wrong time.

Why renominate Kobach? Because he is red-blooded and a staunch conservative in a state that is drifting ever closer to purple status. He got some of my money and he may get more.

I would endorse and vote for Kobach in a heartbeat, but unfortunately he cannot win. While Kansas is solidly Republican, it is not solidly conservative. Many of Kansas Republican are descendants of the original Republicans who came to Kansas from Massachusetts and Connecticut to ensure that Kansas was admitted to the Union as a Free State.

If you want to meet these people, go to Massachusetts Street in Lawrence and visit the Free State Brewery. While most of those people are actually Democrats these days, the mainstream Republicans in this state are of the same ilk. They are liberals, not conservatives. They have trashed Kobach, lied about him, and have spent Soros money to ensure that he can never be elected. That’s why Kansas Senators are faux conservatives and Roberts replacement will probably be the same.

Kobach has no chance of winning if Cocaine Mitch won’t back him.

Correct. Mitch has shown he will work to help the Democrat if necessary.

Bush League Republicans always help the Democrat win if the citizens get a conservative nominated.

I support his solid red positions. This guy would fit like a glove as immigration or senior judicially position with POTUS He lost significantly to a lib democrapper for gov. He appeared to be seriously short of funds. Dems must have had 5 times the ad buys at least here in central Ks.
