Police arrested a man Wednesday morning for Sunday's fatal hit-and-run in Sherman Heights. At this time, police have not released his identity, but confirm that the driver is in custody.
On Tuesday, the San Diego Police Department released photos of a male suspect believed to be the driver of an SUV that fled east on Market Street after hitting and killing 41-year-old Jason Gordon early Sunday morning.
According to SDPD, the male suspect then drove to Humberto’s Taco Shop at the corner of Broadway and 25th Street where he ordered food. As he drove away from the taco shop, he backed into a sedan.

The good news is that if he is a Drunk Illegal Invader, Quid Pro Joe would Bail him out of Jail to work on his Campaign.

I had one of 'em wreck my car in an HEB grocery store parking lot over 20 years ago. The police got involved because the driver and his passenger were both quite sh*t-facedly drunk. The beer cans on their floorboards were way beyond ankle deep. The passenger had pissed himself and was passed out. I think they were on a beer run!
Fortunately for me they had one of those month-to-month insurance policies which covered the repairs to my car.
A few years ago my dentist's receptionist was killed by one of them running a stop sign.
Ironic that for years Slow Joe used to blame his first wife's death on a drunk driver*.
*The driver was not drunk; it was just another Biden lie. But if it had been a drunken illegal, would Joe be in a forgiving mood? I'm thinking he would if it would get him votes.
The hit and run phenomenon pretty much started here in Texas about 20 years ago. If the illegal amigos got in an accident they would just abandon the car and run away. That has seem to caught on now to anyone without a soul. Hit and kill someone...just drive or run away.

San Diego has the lowest crime rate of America’s biggest city. About 90% of the murders in San Diego occur in neighborhoods located close to the Martin Luther King Freeway. The San Diego news media used to refer to those areas collectively as Southeast San Diego. That was deemed as racist. Now the local news media refers to these incidents as occurring in “Sherman Heights” “Mount Hope” area etc. Most people in San Diego wisely stay away from those areas. We still call it Southeast San Diego.
Why? Because it would be racist? Pffft...
So sick of this bullshit.

“H&R” wasn’t unusual in Miami, FL, FIFTY years ago. (About the same time we were offered “UNinsured-Motorist” Insurance). :-/
If the car couldn’t move, the entire car would bail out, run away, and someone would return later with a lawyer. It became a bit of a joke in my workplace.
