McConnell has put into the rules the possibility of dismissal at the outset. Laura Ingraham says she learned tonight just the opposite -- NO motion to dismiss is provided in Mitch's rules. Don't know whose right on this, but the weak-spined Pubs shouldn't let the Dems drive this with witnesses, continual new evidence, etc.

Sigh...read it again. If after both sides present their arguments, the Senate will then decide to have witnesses. If both sides are happy that all has been said, then they can vote to acquit/convict or vote to have witnesses.
My guess is they will vote to have witnesses.
