Agreed. But there is a limit. What Buchanan has written about WW II is, for the lack of a better word, disgusting. He actually blames Churchill for the worst excesses of the Holocaust! Not Hitler or Himmler, but Churchill.

I appreciated Buchanan on Crossfire for years but his views on WWII were bizarre. All of these public figures and politicians have strengths and weaknesses. It is appropriate to hold them accountable and call them out as needed. No sacred cows or idols.
