Virginia Falling To Tyranny: Governor Declares State Of Emergency
CD Media ^ | 01/16/2020 | CD Media

When Democrats took the majority in Virginia the last election, they quickly put on the table a package of radical laws that were set to limit Virginians’ Second Amendment rights, including closing down every shooting range not owned by the government, hindering their ability to form militias, severely limiting gun sale transfers, as well as fresh registration bills.

Within the first 48 hours of taking over the Virginia legislature in 2020, Democrats passed their first of many proposed gun laws and banned the carry of firearms on the property of the state capitol and other government offices.

The people of Virginia spoke up and declared it would be their last term in office. The government responded with a motion to eliminate voter ID laws.

Virginia decided then that they wouldn’t wait for another election. A petition to remove Governor Northam began circulating as well as other petitions to remove delegates from office. When the petition received almost a third of the signatures needed to recall the governor, a new bill was introduced to raise the amount of signatures needed from 10% of the prevailing vote, to 25%.

Oh, but it doesn’t stop there! Other bills in session in the 2020 legislature:

SJ 6 – Which changes the governor’s term from 4 to 8 years. SB 399 – Virginia’s electoral votes for president will go to the candidate who has won the national popular vote. It will no longer matter who many Virginians vote for in presidential races. SJ 9 and SJ 14 – Restores felons’ abilities to vote. SJ 29 – Changes how Governors, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General are elected. Previously, the candidate receiving the most votes statewide would be elected. Proposed: change to who wins the majority in Congressional districts. In case of a tie, the General Assembly...

The link to tyranny is the “state of emergency” in which the executive gets powers over the people that he normally doesn’t have.
So, when he wants to become a dictator, he declares a state of emergency and gets to do what ever he wants.

Where’s the land of the free?

The Dems have not had control for a long time so there is a lot of catch up. I suspect the voters will simply let them roll over them.

You cannot help those who do not wish to be helped. The majority in VA want this.

Now that public schools are merely indoctrination facilities, this is our future.

Amendment XIV Section 3:

"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may, by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."

Republicans have long known how to deal with rebellious Virginia Democrats.

Our Governor in Arkansas is trying to import more fake refugees. He wants a voting block like they have Deerbornistan. Of course we are promised yet again that these will be Christians facing persecution and that they will be a financial and social benefit.

THIS SHOULD GO VIRAL---let Americans know the vindictiveness and visceral hatred
evidenced by majority Democrats when they dont get their own way.

Governor Ralph "Jolson" Northam Declares State Of Emergency.

“The majority in VA want this.”

Maybe 2% are serious about Amendment II trampling.

About 10% of Virginia voters are on public payrolls and expect Democratic politicians to boost their incomes.

Maybe 30% of Virginia voters expect bigger “benefit” handouts from Democrats.

Maybe 10% just vote Democratic because of deep-rooted political beliefs - i.e. “dyed-in-the wool” Democrats like my neighbors to the west.

How did the state allow a white man in blackface or KKK robe to stay in office?

Dems skate, GOP goes to prison is my usual reply, meaning totally crooked two tiered system of alleged justice. Which deserves no respect. Isn’t that stuff one of their “hate crimes”? Or just white supremacist racism?

He’s still the governor and acting now like the emperor.

changes the governor’s term from 4 to 8 years

electoral votes for president will go to the candidate who has won the national popular vote

Governors, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General... change to who wins the majority in Congressional districts. In case of a tie, the General Assembly...

.

This is going WAY beyond unconstitutional anit-2A laws.

This is destroying the very fabric of a Republican form of government.

.

This is going to become “just” drastic or very ugly as the progs are too stupid to understand what circumstances they are creating.

No middle ground on this one.

.

“Imminent Need” is how they are gonna ram through their unconstitutional gun grabbing laws- They will claim the need to pass it is so great because of ‘gun violence’ that they don’t have to answer to anyone- they will just pass it- like NY did
