Brexit is likely to have cost the UK more than £200 billion in lost economic growth by the end of this year...
That’s kinda like saying I lost 20,000 this past year in salary by switching to a career that offered much better long term growth and opportunity.
i NEVER had the 20,000 extra.
I didn’t lose it.
Now I just hope that I dont get fired from this made up situation job!! :)

Thats because its not a clean brexit. The current deal has them following all the eco and labor regs. They will spend 2020 continuing to operate under all the EU restrictions, and uncertainty over the final deal will continue to induce businesses to defer investment plans.
Come 2021, though, the uncertainty will be over, and they will be free of EU regs.

In other news, Amerexit (aka the American Revolutionary War) from the British Empire will have cost the American colonies more than 150 years of tax payments to the Crown in a single year, as economic growth is throttled by punitive British restrictions on trade with the rebellious and newly independent colonies.
