WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday will discuss the strategy and timing for sending articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the Senate as Republicans balk at a call to dismiss the charges without a trial.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will convene the meeting at 9 a.m. (1400 GMT) for a check-in session after saying on Sunday she planned to send the impeachment charges, which she has held since the House passed them in December, to the Senate this week.
Pelosi could also unveil the names of the lawmakers who will be the managers who argue the House’s case in the Senate trial.

The need at “ strategy” because the don’ a case
AS the two articles came out of the oven and have had a chance to cool. They are more clearly seen as the big pile of nothing that they are. This is REALLY not going to go anywhere in the senate.
The democrats have been playing, from the beginning, the only game that worked for them in a pre-trump world, and it’s failing miserably. That game is winning in the court of public opinion.
And when that courtroom turns on them, they have nothing. Nada. Zip. They just look incredibly foolish.

As many said before, Neither of the charges are specific and could be applied to every president that ever served. There are no tangible articles of impeachment. It is just the majority throwing a temper tantrum - because they are the majority and they can.

Multiple Republicans, including Sens. Susan Collins (Maine) and Rob Portman (Ohio), have indicated they would oppose a motion to dismiss, arguing that both Trump’s legal team and House impeachment managers should be able to make their case.
By who? People won’t even get off their asses and VOTE.

If noting else McConnell knows how many votes he has down to the last vote. If one of these idiots votes against what McConnell wants they are dust to him. They will pay dearly for their misjudgment & treason (not of Trump but of McConnell).
To anyone: Local “breaking” news is reporting that, on Wednesday morning, the Dems are going to vote on sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate. Didn’t the House (however bogus) already do this?
I saw this morning that the House is supposed to vote tomorrow to send the Articles to the Senate. Is that a normal procedure? I thought that once they voted for impeachment, they just sent them over, not have more kabuki theater beforehand.
