The officer was on-board a flight to the U.S. from Germany.
Officials say, on Tuesday morning, a passenger on an American Airlines flight tried to breach the planes cockpit.

Not word one in the Media. How about that crap?
No way that his name would be Mohammed...
Crickets, nothing anywhere must be bigger than we know! Here’s a new report but no new info. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKrMYzOOzdc
I hear crickets.
"American Airlines flight AA-71 was almost two hours into its journey from Frankfurt, Germany to Dallas Fort Worth Airport in Dallas, Texas when the flight crew issued a Mayday radio distress call at around 12.30pm."
“Psychotic’ passenger? First big clue he’s probably named Mohammad.
I would go so medieval on him if I was on that plane.
Theres no way I will let someone hijack my plane to kill me if I can stop it, first.
Bttt
I carry a ten foot super think phone charging cable on my plane trips.
There is no way that industrial-strength cable will break, no matter how hard the hijacker tries.
I encourage everyone to do the same.
Plus, it is long enough for the worst case distance hotel room outlet!
crew reports ‘psychotic passenger’
Robert DeNiro?
I think that all planes carry duct tape to imobilize a problem in his seat.
Of course not, it was.........Demmahom!
Duct tape can be folded on itself layer by layer into a square.
It is invisible to metal detectors.
A “square” of duct tape should be in every patriot’s pocket.
Thats a British article.
“A square of duct tape should be in every patriots pocket.”
OK, what do you use it for? Waxing?
Geekish footnote here: don’t waste your time with cheap silver “duct tape”, the adhesive comes loose almost before you’re out of the crawl space. Instead I suggest gaffer tape (3M # 6910): non-metallic, strong fabric, _really_ strong adhesive. Not cheap at all but you’ll never go back.
“..the adhesive comes loose almost before youre out of the crawl space.”
LOL!
For fixing stuff.
Patching holes in pockets.
And occasionally for restraining miscreants.
