This is why an all-out effort to flip that seat in AL back to R is critical. McSally and COs Gardner are probably gone, and Collins seat may flip D as well.
Ppp says it than she is up by about 3 or 4 points
Georgia will be next. The nutty GA Gov kemp appointed someone that is just plain bizarre to fill Isackson’s senate seat. She will be challenged by prob Stacy Abrahms for the seat and it will turn to (D)
Don’t be too quick to call Arizonans morons, particularly retired military.
I loathed McSally when she was in the military. She was the ultimate “Perfumed Princess” with a career built on her allies in Congress. She was my congresswoman for a while. She sucked then.
She ran an incredibly bad campaign against Sinema. And in many ways I now prefer having Sinema as senator to McSally. McSally is Jeff Flake in drag. Except she is even worse as a campaigner. Words cannot express how much she sucks.
Her best chance of election is that Kelly (aka, MR Gabby Giffords) is such a damn gun-grabbing moron that she MIGHT squeak out a win.
“McSally has an impressive service record of her own.”
ARGGHHHHHHH!
Never met an A-10 pilot who liked or respected her. I’m NOT a former A-10 pilot, but I met a number and all the ones I met hated her. Her career was totally, 100% politics.
-10! Lol!
Mark Kelly would be a disaster.
Yes, agree but the big challenge in AZ and other states that are going blue is the increasing Hispanic vote-thankfully it doesn’t go 90%+ Dems like Black vote but 70%
Without the block voting of African Americans (93% + for Dems+ and especially Hispanic Americans-approaching 70%,) CA would still be the state that elected Reagan governor and nationally the Dems would have a little over 100 seats and about 10-12 Senate seats.
Just look at the states won by Trump,he won 32 states but only 4 have a population of Hispanic voters over 13%. Clinton by contrast won 28 states and only 5 had a Hispanic population of under 13%.
In CA, the Hispanic Population is now about 40% (and yes fueled by illegal immigrants and higher birth rate )and African American 12%.
This demographic shift and resulting voting trend is what is going on in early stages in AZ and Nevada, Fl and now Texas. Colorado is now over 20% Hispanic and now a dem state, Nevada over 29% and voting solidly blue. I believe this is why the dems are for illegal immigration-it gets them votes and power.
I never met a person with an IQ over 75 that didn't see what a POS RINO McCain was either but it didn't stop him from getting elected in AZ. Even his POW status is suspect. Many believe he worked willingly with the enemy. I'm one of them.
I've talked with otherwise intelligent veterans who were registered dems (shaking my head) who couldn't see nor acknowledge obama was always reading a teleprompter. You could see it on the tv screen and they would still not see it. Total blind spot. They couldn't see obama was nothing more than a talking, reading, sock puppet. It was obvious to any thinking person.
I believe you about McSally. I don't much care for her either but she's still better than that dem POS Kelly.
Vote for this jackass and Arizona can kiss the Second Amendment goodbye. I’m glad I got the hell out of there.
Time to dig in and play the game.
“Except she is even worse as a campaigner. Words cannot express how much she sucks.”
So she’s the perfect McCain-GOPe pick.
SMH, sad.
You have to remember that California is exporting voters to the surrounding states, in effect making their senators California senators.
It’s something in the Az. water. McLame, Flake, and McSally. Could be the Mormon influence.
Based upon what I saw from her during the impeachment hearings, I wish Representative Debbie Lesko would challenge McSally in the primary.
Would be disastrous for Arizona to have two RAT senators.
The real problem is that neither Mark Kelly of New Joisey or Martha McSally of Connecticut represent anyone in Arizona.
So it’s a runoff between two carpetbaggers.
The only successful carpetbagger in Arizona was McCain, and that was because of his status as sainted POW. Since AZ had 3 major AFB’s at that time (mid 80s) there was a lot of respect for that.
Neither of these two social climbers come close.
If the “Arizonan” McSally wanted to go somewhere with that, the first thing she could do is ask Kelly what he knows about the problems of people in Arizona and why he thinks he’s uniquely qualified to solve them in the Senate.
Since he has absolutely NO history in the state, his answer should be pretty hilarious.
Did he go to high school there? Did he go to college there? Work there? Start a business there? Make the state better in some way over a long period of involvement?
No to all. The guy’s a tourist.
The problem is....McSally isn’t much better. Being assigned to Davis-Monthan for a few years is meaningless: everyone knows mil people are transient. A lot stay in Tucson, but only to retire. So she gets only a few points for that.
She has one chance left: point out that Kelly is merely an opportunist, and worse, wants to impose coastal Leftist values on Arizona - which the real Arizonans HATE.
Until she does that, she’s just Mark Kelly in a skirt and she flew a smaller airplane.
Agree there are other candidates out there. Biggs is another one.
The exporting is all from Mexico.
Tucson is now about 50-50 white/hispanic.
In 1960 that number was about 90-10. Not a word of Spanish was heard when I grew up there. It was considered un-American and rude to speak a foreign language back then.
But the Invasion came, and now Tucson has a Cartel Queen for a mayor (Lew Murphy is rolling in his grave) who babbles about being “bi-cultural and bi-lingual”, something Tucson was for about 30 years after the Gadsden Purchase.
The problem in Arizona is the massive illegal influx of a hostile, criminal mass of foreigners who are intent on wiping out American hegemony over “their” land.
She hasnt won a primary herself. I think republicans need to just vote for mcsally. Shes the incombent in an election year. She should win. 2018 didnt have trump on the ticket. Huge difference.
McSilly losing? Who would have thought that would happen? /s
