It was never going to be much of a war. We would have CRIPPLED their military capability, and possibly their economy...and then left it at that.

Hey Reuters, everything is “for now”.
In other words, you democrats should just sit back, shut up and watch President Trump operate.
Reuters used “broad” in there story,they are so insensitive.

“Off-ramp”. Another word I’ve heard from at least half a dozen different reporters to describe Trump’s exceptionally executed strategy, along with “bumbling” and “stumbling”.
Somehow they skip over the fact the “general” is still dead and that was Trump’s objective.
“Sparked a crisis” doesn’t mean much. Iran blinked.

It’s a matter of mild amusement to see the phrase “off-ramp” occur simultaneously in so many “independent” liberal voices, but awarding the moral victory to Iran to spite Trump is actually pretty pathetic. Soleimani and his Iraqi followers are still dead and they’re going to stay that way. It’s the most positive step for peace in the Middle East for a long time.

Right. The Iranians storming U.S. Territory at the Embassy in Iraq had NOTHING to do with us terminating Soleimani. Nothing at all.
That little patch of land the Embassy sits on is sovereign U.S. soil, no different than U.S. soil here at home. It's a little detail that the MSM never brings up.
