Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Friday fired back at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) after he said it was a "non-starter" for House Democrats to try to make demands for the Senate's impeachment trial of President Trump.
Earlier Friday, McConnell dug in over the ongoing stalemate and accused House Democrats of having "cold feet" after Pelosi declined to send the articles of impeachment passed by the House two weeks ago over to the Senate.
Pelosi held just as firm and accused McConnell of abandoning his oath to protect the Constitution....
"Let me clarify Senate rules and Senate history for those who may be confused," McConnell said from the floor in his first remarks on impeachment since before the holidays. "First, about this fantasy that the Speaker of the House will get to hand-design the trial proceedings in the Senate, that's obviously a non-starter."

It is difficult to violate an oath that has not been administered. In fact, it may never be administered to any US Senator since Nauseous Nancy has no intention of submitting the articles of impeachment.

By now, it should be very evident to everyone, including the Trump haters, that, Pelosi and Schumer and democrats won’t be happy unless Trump is found guilty and removed from office. IOW, she and democrats have a predetermined outcome and won’t settle for anything less.
So, at this point, the ‘case’ should be thrown out of ‘court’ (even before it’s delivered), because of attempted jury tampering and for obstruction of justice (by democrats) mostly, because it can’t be a fair trial, therefore, a mistrial.
Democrats have effed-up the whole case which then makes it a no-case.
That cell is 24 inches wide, 80 inches long and six feet deep.
Were she held to hers she'd be hanged by the neck until dead for being in violation of it in a way that undermined the Constitution and threatened the security or our Republic.

McConnell should take note the House has impeached the president and schedule a hearing by the judiciary committee in a tiny basement room. Then, the Senate Committee should vote and inform the entire senate of their conclusion, whereupon the entire Senate can vote.
Otherwise, McConnell should inform Nanzi the Senate rules will be exactly the same as the House rules during impeachment. No unapproved democrat witnesses, no unapproved democrat questions, etc.
