Says a lot about an “educational” institution to appoint as their Chancellor someone who once said “in the model we are creating for the future only a few need to be educated”.
(that quote is from memory that is pretty old but it should be pretty easy to check).

From the headline I hoped she would be moving to Ireland, but apparently the position is ceremonial, not a daily function. Too bad!

Upon first reading, I too thought it was a parody. Plenty of her crimes have been revealed already. I wouldn't send my child there.
Bill Bryson, the author of "A Walk in the Woods" and his current "The Body" among many others, was chancellor of Durham University for 5 years. But he had lived in the UK for many years in the past, then came back to the US, then went to live at Durham while he was chancellor and became very involved in the university. Bryson's a big leftist too, of course, but as far as I know he hasn't done anything illegal or lied pubicly.
Good grief. I had no idea that their standards had dropped that far.
We should have pity on them, since their name is now sh**.
Queen's University Belfast would be in Northern Ireland and thus part of the U.K. British taxpayers then...

She got her name in the news yesterday by supporting Prince William’s latest save the earth foundation. Since she’s unable to attain POTUS status here, maybe she’s aiming for Liz’s job.
